****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Hi guys you know on hydronics, is there anyway to get the old SGS2 brightness slider back, where you could hold your finger on the status bar for a split second and then slide it across the status bar to change the brightness?

Or is the only way just to pull down the whole status bar then use the slider?

Cheers.

EDIT: Never mind, found it under general settings

I'm such a pleb. Been trying loads of different modems trying to figure out why I always had G and not 3G or H. Realised I had 'use 2g networks only' ticked :p

I was running Go Launcher on Checkrom, so just defaulted back to that for the time being, ill check out apex and nova, thanks.

Also, just noticed it says my Serial number is unknown in the about phone > status menu, is that a problem? IMEI is there and what not

I fear this question has already been answered but I cant find the solution via search so....

Under ICS (specifically Hydro) how do i browse my external SDCARD via my pc? connecting it via cable or Samba doesnt seem to make a difference - external_sd is empety and there is no emmc folder.

Many thanks!

My niece recently bought a new white SGS2 from carphone warehouse but it needed replacing as some things weren't working properly. Apparently hers was old stock and the newer versions are actually a different thickness. No idea why they did that. You can't see it in these photos, but compared to mine, it's definitely not as thin. Her official case she'd bought didn't fit the new one, and I think she said neither did her charger. So they replaced her accessories for a charge of £10 but the only case they had which fits is a cheap looking see through silicon case. Glad I don't buy my phones from carphone warehouse.

Sorry about the crappy pic quality, not much light when I took these.

That's the GT-i9100P. It is slightly thicker than the GT-i9100 due to the NFC capability.
