Yeah exactly like that, You can just flash a no wipe stock samsung rom back over the top if you ever want to revert back, As far as I know there isn't a theme restore zip for ICS like there was for GB. I'll have a look around though & see if I can find one.

Try going back into CWM & wipe cache partition & dalvik cache again should fix it.

Okayyy...I rebooted it again and that error flashed back and forth a few times then dissapeared.
I'm now just going to copy all my phone contents to the PC as a backup then going to proceed with the themeing, Will report back.
edit - do I need a min % battery charge to flash? - I'm on 40% at the mo

Tried to root my two week old Galaxy S2 as per this guide here > http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-...t/482994-rooting-galaxy-s2-dummies-guide.html
and the damn thing won't load up now. Just shows up the 'GT i1900P' screen with the warning triangle then the screen stays black!
Arghh how do i bring her back to life!?

How come you have am i9100P?
Rooting in essence should not cause any problems, you're flashing the same kernel, just rooted and then uploading a custom recovery to the phone - only issue would be if you flash the wrong file made for another phone version.
In which case just flash the correct one using Odin again.

I have the NFC Version of the phone mrk. Rather stupidly I purchased it via ebay as a brand new unwanted upgrade thinking it would be more future proof!

I've flashed roms and kernels with 3% so you'll be fine
I can't believe this
As mrk said grab another kernel and flash it via odin and you'll be able to recovery. The gs2 is pretty much unbrickable.
I usually don't bother flashing anything if the battery is under 25% but thats just me

WITH ROOT EXPLORER APP GO TO SYSTEM/APP AND DELETE SystemUI.odex FILE
It says it cannot be deleted? Using ES File Explorer.

Mount it as the /app directory as RW first
Could you break it down Intratech - I'm a proper noob at this.
Also whats the reason behind deleting this file?
Wish I'd never messed with it now.
