****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

I see - I have to use this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23697378&postcount=10819 as my ROM is ODEXED right?

So the extra step is:
- WITH ROOT EXPLORER APP GO TO SYSTEM/APP AND DELETE SystemUI.odex FILE
- REBOOT!!!

should I make a copy of SystemUI.odex - if I ever want to revert back to stock (i.e.how it is now)?

Is it easy to revert back to stock?

Yeah exactly like that, You can just flash a no wipe stock samsung rom back over the top if you ever want to revert back, As far as I know there isn't a theme restore zip for ICS like there was for GB. I'll have a look around though & see if I can find one.

I have just done a full Nandroid backup, and then after restart I'm getting this error:

It's not budging either.

cheers guys.

Okayyy...I rebooted it again and that error flashed back and forth a few times then dissapeared.

I'm now just going to copy all my phone contents to the PC as a backup then going to proceed with the themeing, Will report back.

edit - do I need a min % battery charge to flash? - I'm on 40% at the mo

How come you have am i9100P?

Rooting in essence should not cause any problems, you're flashing the same kernel, just rooted and then uploading a custom recovery to the phone - only issue would be if you flash the wrong file made for another phone version.

In which case just flash the correct one using Odin again.

I have the NFC Version of the phone mrk. Rather stupidly I purchased it via ebay as a brand new unwanted upgrade thinking it would be more future proof!

Where do I find the correct version? Please please please!

Info written down from the phone before I flashed it.

PDA i9100PXXLPH
PHONE i9100PXXLPC
CSC i9100P02ULP4

Is it possible to add more than 4 pages to Flipboard? The last tile says 'show 1 more' but then I have loads of stuff in there that ive selected.

Great app btw, thanks for who ever linked it :)

cheers guys.

I usually don't bother flashing anything if the battery is under 25% but thats just me :p

Oop, getting caught up with S3 news and videos :p But yeah, just flash another kernel (CF-Root) and should be back to normal

I can't do that extra step, i.e.

WITH ROOT EXPLORER APP GO TO SYSTEM/APP AND DELETE SystemUI.odex FILE

It says it cannot be deleted? Using ES File Explorer.

In order to be able to modify system holder contents you must first set the system folder as read and write as opposed to just read which is the default setting.

Do this in ES via the settings screen.

tick this option here? i.e. Mount File system? This is in ES File Explorer

or do you mean here...i.e. tick both write boxes?
