Yep. Ask for your pac code if you want to keep your number - you'll need it to give to o2.

its been well over 30 mins since i placed my order with o2 and still not had a confirmation email from them but i did take down the order number.

bit weird as the joining o2 email came through straight away.

could this be to do with the credit check that you have to agree to?

I've had mine on pre order for a few weeks now at various places and none of them even have it in stock so cancelled them all and ordered one from o2 this morning no confirmation email and such, can't even see my order online??!!

This thread reminds me of ‘i4 day’ when I gathered with others and queued on release day (last year) for the iPhone4. Great craic it was waiting in line and chatting about what, where and when – (I don’t think you’re a true nerd/geek until you wait in line for hours or over night for a film or tech product) Anyway, we waited and the man came down the line and told us info. Info like “only 16 GB’s left now” and “we won’t be supplying bottled water because we’re tight”

I was near to the front at the time I joined and to hear the man do a head count and tell people further down the line that there was no possible stock left for them, well, it was painful. We nearly had a fight or two that night/day and this is the first Android info queue, albeit a virtual one, I’ve been in.

I may be buying a PAYG phone, but I've been using O2 Simplicity 12 month contracts for the last 3 years... I am effectively in a contract!

In all fairness, the phone hasn't technically been released yet until the 1st!
