They have stock and are sending them out on Tuesday, that email just confirms you'll have to wait until then, its standard for pre-orders. Dont worry!
 
O2 said they are getting more stock this weekend so I should call again tomorrow evening or on Sunday and get the order put through again, as this will increase my chances of getting one next week.
 
Stephen, all the contracts that we sell whether if it's from a third party dealer or direct from T-Mobile has the same data speed that you can use and we don't limit the speed. The fair use is there to make sure our customer have the best experience. There might be some customers who use so much data that it affects the quality of everyone else's surfing. So to make sure everything is running smoothly, this is why we'll keep an eye on every usage.

Just got that from tmobile - seems to put that one to bed and even if that isn't the case, I have something in writing so they can't argue :)

I went for the O2 Universal Mobile Cradle, I had one already from ebay for my Nexus One but it wasn't the greatest quality.

lol im going for the cradle too, cant get past where it asks me for my details tho, as where it says first name last name theres nowhere to put any characters, guess its firefox 4, going to go back to 3.XX and see if that works


ok for anyone who is having the same problem you have to log out of your o2 account if you have one

Did you order online? Was it a contract?

I ordered yesterday afternoon and still no confirmation email. I spoke to them today and was told it was out of stock.

Only Korean Tegra 2 handsets are NFC enabled. UK Exynos ones are not. The NFC version is thicker than the non-NFC one.

Interestingly, GumMobile claim they are shipping the Tegra2 version with NFC... which is odd.

wife's upgrading existing contract. Girl I spoke to at around 1pm said loads of stock and already got disptach email about 2 hours later. Called the call centre as the option of the S2 was not available online but spoke to a nice lady who sorted it out asap

Damn i'm jealous of the wife's phone!:D
