I got my Quidco tracking email, even though O2 haven't confirmed the order:

I got the exact same quidco email with exact same time stamp this morning too. I also have not received O2 conformation. When I log into O2 and track my order it still shows as 'In progress'.
 
After cancelling my buymobilephones.net order, I've gone with O2 on a 24 month contract; it's only 50 mins, 250 texts and 100mb data for £13.50 a month but I'm not going to actually use this sim, so I'll cancel the 100mb of data reducing it to £10.50 a month after the first.

Handset: £149.99
Contract (total): £255.00
Accessory: £7.99
Quidco: -£100.00
Total cost: £312.98

I'll be whacking in a giffgaff sim so this definitely looks like the best deal for me.

or maybe it just requires it for the initial order

Ok I ordered yesterday from o2. Got 2 emails. When I log in it just says unable to find any details of your account. Money hasn't been taken out of my account either... :confused:

edit: yep same as dangerous.

So hopefully we'll be OK, although I think I'll leave it on until I get the cashback from quidco just to be safe.
 
hmm cashback in your bank can take months, once its tracked and apporoved would it be ok to cancel then i wonder

edit actually, if we are allowed to take the 300mb off this should not affect quidco cashback as we are still on a 24month contract, so i think it will be ok to take it off after a month
