Hey guys, just wanted to replace the front covering glass on my S2, the screen only has a thin cut but the everything else works perfectly fine. Just wanted to make sure I was buying the correct thing.

nope.. it will cost a lot more as the actual digitilizer is attached to the screen so the whole "part" costs around 80-100 not 5.99, you can't simply rip the front part of the actual screen.

Oh so you cant just replace the front covering glass and keep the rest Sucks. Thanks as I was about to buy this.

and it comes with the screen too.

im not even sure why they sell those.. AFAIK Screen and digitizer are glued together.

I didn't think it would cover accident cover, I will give them a call once I get a new phones. Give the S2 to my Mum.

I've got a phone with a broken screen.

if you don't want to fix it yourself i can do it I've taken loads apart. got one here on my desk in bits. mobo got a broken power button so can be bothered fixing that and buying a screen as well. wouldn't be worth it with the money it would cost in total.

Is it just the battery or the cover too? I have 2 stock batteries and don't need both.

Guys, my dad's s2 has started randomly charging or at least show on the screen its connected to a PC when it's not connected to anything. It randomly beeps and does it for a few seconds, it's only started doing it today. Any ideas?

Im running the Jelly Bean leak. Been brilliant. I find that Location services drain the battery but I only turn them on when needed. Rumours are the actual release will be anything from this week to January according to the massive thread on XDA.

The only bug I've noticed is the lock screen bug, where sometimes you have to turn the screen off and back on a few times to allow you to unlock the screen.
