***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Oh bugger, the coating on the home button has starting to come off. Samsung and its cheap materials, half temped to jump back to iPhone 5.

Decided to just make the whole button silver, so I polished off the purple coating.

Can someone link me or name me a good cheap SD card for this? :) Gathering I need one to flash a new rom?
You don't need one. I personally prefer to use one just so that I can clear any leftovers from the last install with ease.

If you do, I use a Verbatim Class 10 from Amazon, that's said to be a proper class 10, a Samsung card is also a good choice.

Tried that too still no luck, I guess it is a nightly for a reason!
Very odd, but it might be worth coming back to it later :)

I got my S3 from Orange today as an upgrade and all seems to be good.

The battery seems to go a bit fast but i think it will take a few charges.

The other thing i noticed is when you go into settings and about phone there is no software update option why is this?

I also purchased one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Leather-Flip-Galaxy-Anymode/dp/B0081YO4JK/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

It's a pretty tight fit and seems really tight when closed from the top and and does not open and close very easy it is supposed to be so tight?

T-Mobile do the same. My mum's S3 doesn't have the Software Update button either but mine, which is also T-Mobile, does have it. Difference being mine came as an unlocked version which they seem to have done for the first batch of Pebble Blue phones (mum's is white).

I think they rushed the PB ones out too quickly due to the delay with them which stopped them from putting their own crap on it :D

Does anyone know if there's an app or something that will let me share my phones Wifi to my desktop PC? Having trouble with my desktop connection, phone seems fine though.

Settings -> More Settings -> Portable wi-fi hotspot

Turn that on, the phone will now become an access point - should be able to get the PC to connect to that..
