***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

That shares my phones data connection, I need to share its wifi connection :(

Am I right in thinking you would need two antennas/radios to do this, don't know where the option is on ICS but on my old desire, when I plug the phone in via usb, there was an option to share the phones internet connection, and I would assume this would share your wifi signal.

Try an app called EasyTether.

Not sure if it will try and share you mobile or wifi signal, as I haven't used it, but I think it's what your looking for.

I don't believe his "3 days with pretty heavy use". I would like to see his battery stats and I can pretty much guarantee that his screen on time will be floating around the 4-5 hour mark which, for a 3 day period, is NOT heavy use.

Agreed. I have a Google Doc that you enter some figures in to (screen on, messages sent, call time etc) and it gives a battery score and a user score (heavy, moderate, light etc)

Who would know how to lock cells and leave certain cells available to edit?

We can start using it to really see how people get on with their batteries.

Better my ass ; )

Coming from a Desire which had an awful battery life, I would say the main difference I noticed was that I could get two days heavy use. I mean constant browsing and youtubing. As long as I have a strong signal it seems to be fine. The second I was buffering in a low 3g area, with no HSPDA you lose 10-20% just trying to show someone something on the internet.

With my desire if it wasn't at say +60 percent when I went on a night out at 6pm I would have a dead phone by the time I got home with heavy usage.
I've noticed with the GS3 that I can go out with around 40% and use it a lot and still come home with about 10% left.

Hmm, I must say, wasn't fussed on the design/looks of the new RAZR phones, but that photo you posted there looks pretty damn nice (apart from the front).

This is definitely a mobile that I will have to see for myself!

You can write protect cells or ranges of cells by highlighting them then right click and choose "name and protect cells". You then give that cell/range of cells a name and tick the protect box where you can choose who is able to edit them or not.

Whats the best way of transferring my messages from my S2 to S3?

Also I hear the Note 2 is coming on 1st October is it really going to be much better than S3 or is it jus the bigger screen?

Also if you upgrade through Orange how many days do you have to play with the phonme if you later decide you want to change it
