Does anyone else who uses Swiftkey/Swype find that when they reboot their phone, it reverts back to standard Samsung keyboard?
Known bug for Android - something to do with encrypted market purchases are slower to load on boot so the phone gets worried and goes back to stock kb.

For the past few days, my S3 refuses to charge on the mains. It's not the charger as i've tried 2 different ones. However, it will charge from a usb port on my laptop. It can't be the battery either, as i have 2 which i have also tried.

If you look back a few pages you will see what the problem is and how to cure it.

Its a firmware issue, what modem version are you running? Is the firmware branded?
Not much you can do to solve it other than completely down charge the phone so its 100% dead and charge from usb, it should fix it.

Running wanamlite rom with adam kernal at the moment (MB5). It's been ok for over a month, just recently stopped charging on anything but my laptop.

Will have to try and run the battery down over night, as i've just charged it to 100%.

I must say, my OH's phone is doing the same thing. Her phone is running the latest official samsung rom, she won't let me root it :p

Thanks for that, will rename/remove that file later. Both Swiftkey and Swype seem to be getting a lot of negative comments/reviews on Google Play for this issue even though it would appear to be a Samsung issue.

After a smallish favour - I'm after a Voda official image: I9300XXEMC2 I9300VFGEMD1 but I can't login to samfirmware - site's totally FUBAR. Anyone either able to login to the site, tell me the secret method if you managed this, or got a url for this?

URL's here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-I9300&pcode=VOD#firmware
I can log in fine :) I think this is the link you are after

Hi all,

I am having some issue with bluetooth on my stock S3. I am trying to pair it with my car stereo and it keeps switching on and off and losing connection. At first I thought it was the car so updated all the software hoping that would help but it didn't.

I just tried with my girlfriends iPhone 4s and it paired straight away and never dropped signal.

Is there anything I can do to rectify this? I have checked the settings on the phone and it seems ok (music and phone sharing in the bluetooth settings are ticked).

Is there anything I am missing?

Has anyone tried replacing the glass on the front of the S3? The mrs has upgraded to an S4, but I would like to sell the S3 and it has a very straight single crack down the screen. The digitiser and lcd is fine.
