I wasn't aware the FE was even supposed to be e-sim?
I haven't seen it mentioned in any reviews or marketing material.

Yep had it confirmed by a Samsung customer representative then confirmed again by the Samsung Technical support team.
It's listed on the specs on the Sammobile webpage below

Might give it a whirl. Not convinced by the S20 Exynos varietiesbut want to move back to Samsung from iOS. iPhone 11 is great but I miss Samsung, even if the battery life is pants.I personally never encountered touch issues and I believe samsung fixed them with a recent software update anyway.
Impressive. Guess that shows the difference between the adaptive and always on 120mhz from Samsung. No way on earth the FE would manage those numbers! The 5g s20 (snapdragon) battery life is absolutely not pants. I took mine off charge at 8am and the battery is at 48% with 5hrs 19 screen on time at 120hz.

Remarkable!Sorry, to be clear I AM talking about the FE model.
Now at 5hrs 50 SoT and 43% battery.

I want to know is how. I don't get those numbersSorry, to be clear I AM talking about the FE model.

I hit bed last night at 50% with my FE off charge since 7am. Admittedly it had a pretty easy day of it yesterday but that's good going, especially for a Samsung. I was on 4hrs SOT but I also had over an hour of YouTube streaming with the screen off that used a portion of the battery. Absolutely no reason I couldn't have hit 7+hrs SOT if I'd tried.I want to know is how. I don't get those numbers
I am assuming you are running it at 120 and not 60?I hit bed last night at 50% with my FE off charge since 7am. This.Standby is what skews the figures - if you take the phone to work and it sits for 8 hours hunting masts, or bouncing between them on your commute, the battery will dribble away and you might end up on 75% at the end of the day and with not much more than an hour's screen time. Then it would be tempting to think "hang on, the battery is rubbish", but if you sat at home all day on your phone, the battery has a much easier life and lasts much longer.
I have 5G turned off as well. Maybe it makes a difference.
I quite like it although I can see your point. I like the 'plastic' back and the fact it is lighter because of it and the matt finish is quite nice.Mine is going back. Top phone, it just doesn't feel that special in the hand. For most people I'm sure that's unimportant (and I wish it was for me), but I'll try a different device.
