I read (XDA forum) that Samsung has disabled 5G on imported devices - you'll see that those sites will open the box to activate the phone before shipping, this is where I imagine Samsung apply the block.
Really? That'll put the kaibosh on a lot of potential SD imports...

Is that the buds+?

Yeah, had a play, tried smaller fit inner wing bits. They sound a little better but nowhere near as good as Jaybirds.
Won't they need a bit of 'burn in'?

Er what? Usually sound degrades over time afaik. They should sound the best they can be. I a bit disappointed with the quality but it is much better than the standard ear buds you get with it.

I didn't realise I had become an audio snob lol

Burn in, gives the drivers time to loosen up. I gave my Senn TW2 earphones 20 hours constant running to loosen the sound up.

Pecking order lol if you compare the size of the us as a whole compared to the uk are you really surprised?

I think Samsung have an impossible task on their hands to get Americans to switch from their iPhones, hence the more extensive sales. Here in the UK I don't think there's quite so much iPhone snobbery.

They always get better deals for most things in the usa. they get massive cash backs free items say buy one phone get one free, the uk lacks way behind the usa but having said that it is starting to get better in that respect.
