Looking at it from the second hand market those findings just don't match up. I sold my S10e for £330 in November when I changed to the 7T Pro and at the time that was about the market value of that device and that was only 7 months after release. Looking now I can see an S10e for as low as £295 just 1 year from release. I paid £569 for my S10e about a month after the official release so taking that lower figure that's a drop of approx 43% and a 50% drop from RRP. Contrast that with the 7T Pro. Admittedly not a very scientific test but the cheapest 'Buy It Now' I can find on the bay is £559.99. That's just a 20% drop from the RRP of £699 after pretty much the same timeframe as my S10e ownership.I disagree, unless you assume every Samsung buyer paid full RRP. Example: the s10e will recycle for about the same price as the OnePlus 7t Pro and the S10e has been out 8 or 9 months longer and has been available waaay below RRP on many occasions. Also not many recyclers will even buy a OnePlus phone, presumably because they see no value in doing so.
