**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S21 Family Thread ****

The one Samsung supplies pre-attached is actually pretty good there is generally no need to remove it unless your going to put a tempered glass one there tbh.

It's decent for a plastic protector but it was catching on my finger when doing nav gestures. Plus it's a dust trap and I like the feeling of glass.

Hey, are you going to put another screen protector on it or keeping it bare?

Yes mate. Bare back.

Mine direct from Samsung has shipped, Samsung email through confirming.

Email earlier in day from DPD said Sunday but my gut says it'll come tomorrow, as typically a Sunday delivery is more expensive so they'll just bring it forward now they have it. Fingers crossed.

Has anyone else had any problems with Smart Switch on the S21? I've tried it 3 or 4 times and not having much luck. It transfers everything over okay but it always hangs during the organising part.

I'd recommend doing a clean install. I had problems with my Pixel 5 doing a transfer from my 2XL, it succeeded but there were bugs. Generally its always better to do a fresh install.

Got my silver ultra today..... Looks nice -transfer done. Running a little "warm" but that has been during all the setup etc.

One initial questions - I've come from OP7 Pro which had a little slider on the side for "ring" "vibrate" and "silent" - Is there any quick way of setting up something similar?? Without having to drag top settings menu down etc.

Also - Do people still use Nova as the main launcher. Thanks

I am trying to use love launcher prime. but for some reason I am having issues, It will sometimes just stop working and revert to the Samsung ui. icons will go huge.
I always set my phone up as a new device i have experienced enough hassle with the smart switch to last me a lifetime lol

I've used Novalauncher for years with LMT pie launcher for quick navigation. *longpress home for samsung pay*
Yes, it's a very clean setup with some folders on the main homepage and a couple of other screens with some widgets.

Coming from the UK s20 ultra(512gb) to the new s21 ultra UK(512gb) I have not noticed that much of a difference really bar one thing battery life. Although to be fair i haven't taken it outside the house yet etc. One thing does worry me slightly or I'm forgetting something/ Bluetooth I have connected both my Samsung galaxy watch active 2 and my wf-1000xm3 earbuds. whilst listening to music via my earbuds they keep dropping the signal. General speed of the phone i have not noticed any difference between them. but then I do not know if I should be noticing any diff.

The official Samsung charger is available from amazon direct. £18

Your standard 18w PD fast charge is suffice for most and is much more readily available.

PPS is also an open standard of PD. All OEMs would choose this if they really cared for the environment. It's fast and efficient thanks to its finely tuned and varied voltage output as the battery goes up in charge.

Are they legit though? Seen a few reviews that claim they're not the real deal?

Edit: Just ordered it Direct from Samsung in White. £17 delivered. Be here monday (Or so it says!)
