got the echo rom working and its quite nice as it happens.
Few things though.
Cant seem to turn phone off while its charging? even if its off and i plug it in it switches on itself.
When i turn the phone and it comes on to my enter pin page. Until i enter my pin the phone wont turn the screen off or connect to a cellular network?
Also i cant get network speed thing to show up and i quite like that as im on 4g

I updated my bootloader and modem, KNOX void now but quite frankly IDGAF
I might have to do this, I dont want to tho as Echoe should work on old one.
Ive tried 3 times now but still no wifi and root for me

I did the above and mine has worked. My 2 problems I had aren't there, but 1 thing ive noticed is a large square on Notifications screen that I cant remove.
Ill mess about a bit more.

Apparently there is a fix for the problem on the notification screen.. It doesnt bother me, so I wont bother applying it.
Found it and everything is fine now, cheers !
*edit* I just realised, applying that fix has taken the new KK round notification icons and put the square ones back. No biggy but annoying at the same time.
I've now fixed the fix. Lovely Rom!

Never had any MMS issues on any ROM on my S4.
I do, I've never had functioning MMS on a custom ROM either.
Does people still use MMS?
A massively overpriced way of sending photos.. Doesnt everybody have internet on their phones these days?Does people still use MMS?
Indeed I use Whatapp for anything I send. But I still do get the odd MMS.

updated to kitkat, now the home button wont work with my spigen view cover
seems like they have disabled non genuine covers,
works fine with the cover open
any ideas if i can get it working again

lol my pleasure
darling does yous take ages to connect to a cell now? mine takes ages. It also just stays lit up until i enter my pin.Oh and it wont charger with the phone off!

I had problems registering the sim card at first, but after installing the fix it works fine. It charges fine too. **
Im finding Flash Player doesn't work on here, but that's an issue of 4.4.
** The fix got rid of the blue square and restored the Quick Panel Icons to that of the S5.
After applying this it worked fine. If you try it make a backup just incase.

I said the other day it was fine, but after a reboot today it took a few minutes to register the sim card. A bit annoying but I can live with it for now. Other than that there's hardly any problems.
I purchased my S4 on the release day and pay £150 up front fee. This has been the only time I have ever purchased a phone on release. I will in future wait 6-8 months after launch as that seems to be when the deals start getting very reasonable !
