You'd need the new bootloader for that Wanam rom yeah.
You could flash that kernel with your current rom and see if it helpsas long as you are on KitKat

Have you flashed the latest modem? I had a similar issue and needed to flash a newer modem which fixed the WiFi issue
Not much really, just got bored!! The battery isnt as good on Wanam so may end up going backWhen you say relatively stable, what were the issues? I'm running the final v1.2 Jamal GPE ROM from XDA and it's 100% stable, never ever freezes or reboots.
Ended up doing a dirty reflash of the ROM over the top and everything sorted itself out

Updates tailed off but may be that there wasnt anything to update
I flashed the GoldenEye 2.6 a few days ago, all seams ok but betterbatterystats is telling me battery usage is at 2.8% per hour which is a bit high, used to get 1.5%, also it has randomly rebooted a few times
