A lot of these ROMs I try seem to show fast battery drain (Omega and GE seemed the best for me). The Viper mod included with Echoe especially! However I took this advice and the initial results look very positive:

If you use AEL Kernel, download trickstermod from playstore and change the governor to Wheatley and the i/o sheduler to zen. And you can undervolt 2500, that saves your battery extreme. I have 2days battery with 4hours screen on

Well, I installed Echoe v26, hated it to be honest. Just couldn't like it somehow and it felt bloated.

So have now installed PhoeniX V9, really like it :) SO fast and snappy. Lovely to use so far.
 
Not even going to bother with roms after reading on the XDA for a couple of weeks it just seems the majority experience problems far too often. Im quite happy with my stock S4 with Nova Pro and Titanium backup with most of the bloat froze.
 
Viper does destroy the battery, always has. The sound is so awesome though.

I ditched Samsung ROMs a while ago. Been rocking aosb since march and its brilliant:)

I meant to post this a few days ago. Last weekend I was out camping Friday to Sunday at a car show. Left with a full charge on my Anker battery on the Friday, came home with some to spare, so continued to use it until it was finally almost dead on the Sunday night :p

What would be the best way to go back to original carrier branded firmware without tripping knox?

Ok so I am considering well, ok I am going to factory reset my phone and start again as I seem to have gotten messy with apps and setings and all.
My question is I recently downloaded KK launcher it worked great for a week, however it then started crashing and reverting back to original s4 launcher face type particularly if the phone was turned off amd on again.
So a little advice and suggestions for kk launcher or other launcher (I didnt particarly like nova) as seabiscuit didnt seem to think the one i had was official even though its from play store. and some general guidance would be awesome.
