i still cant find a rom that gives some of the screen on times that some people "supposedly get" i ran a film the other day in aeroplane mode and still only got about 3 hours screen on time.
Im lucky if i get 1 and a half hours with calls and texts.

I'm satisfied enough with my s4 that i haven't felt the need to update to any of the phones that have come out since.
It has lag and it can be noisy in auto as are pretty much all androids of that release time, the s5 camera is loads better, but in all other respects it's sound.
The s5 is about £400 on amazon the Note 3 £10/15 more, bearing that in mind how much are you paying for the 2nd hand s4, a new sony z3c can be bought for £350.
im back with omega and even with a extended battery i still only got about 4 hours screen on time and 1 hour of talk time.
so how people get more than that with standard batterys i have no idea in the world!
im still happy with my S4's performance. Just a little bored lol.
Cant seem to find a launcher and icons i like etc.

i never managed it with my screen either. i just figures people were pushing the brightness way down or something. screw that lol.
i get 3ish hours on time normally with a standard battery. by far the screen gobbles up more energy than anything else on my phone unless im hammering games or something.

Bad times. On holiday at the moment as well.
Anyone else on custom rom having problems with Google Play services etc crashing??
I had it on Echoe v32, reinstalled v29 and getting the same now. I didnt have problems before!
*edit* Google Play Services 6.1.07 is the problem. Seems if you disable "disable location consent" module in Xposed Installer it stops the errors. Or just dont update it.

Does anybody know where i can pick up a replacement screen for the best price? it seems i've cracked the oled panel but the top glass itself is still intact. I've got insurance, not sure on the excess yet, but trying to weight up the cost of doing it myself vs claiming on the insurance.

Did they never make an official extended battery and back cover for the galaxy S4?
Had the phone from new but repeated gaming on it has worn the battery out. I can find an official extended battery for s2 s3 and s5 but not the S4?? if the S4 has been left out why?

Cost me £138 from Samsung about a year ago if that helps with your quotes.
Same damage, don't know how but LCD damaged without any exterior damage to the phone
Not that I know of. I have an Anker extended battery in mine. It lasts quite well but it does make the phone twice as thick.

I had mine replaced at a shop in town. I couldn't wait for a new one to arrive and couldn't be bothered with stripping it down myself. Cost me £120 and was done in 20 minutes.
