**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

So is my Canon camera, what difference does that make? Other than obvious UK warranty with manufacturer. I don't think the phone is expensive enough for this to be a negative in this case.

LTE bands differ and warranty is not in the UK. Have to send back to country of origin.

4G FDD-LTE:
B1(2100),B2(1900),B3(1800),B4(AWS),B5(850),B7(2600),B8(900),B12(700),B13(700),B17(700),
B18(800),B19(800),B20(800),B25(1900),B26(800)
4G TDD-LTE: B38(2600),B39(1900),B40(2300),B41(2500)
3G WCDMA: B1(2100),B2(1900),B5(850),B8(900)
3G TD-SCDMA: B34(2010),B39(1880)
3G CDMA: BC0(800)
2G GSM: GSM850,GSM900,DCS1800,PCS1900
2G CDMA: CDMA800

I do belive that covers our 4G networks. Granted return is a pain but using a UK based 'middle man' is less painfull. Touch wood, never had any issues with a phone bar a few stuck pixels on iPhone 4s.

It really not worth the hassle & risk buying a grey import one when the saving is only about £50

IF the Saving was £100+ then maybe I would think about it..

Because this..

That means nothing. You think someone tasked with replying to Twitter comments makes any important decisions such as whether to honour orders?

On Hotukdeals a few people have stated they called up Very and were told the order is fine and will go through at the discounted price.

And what makes you think someone tasked with answering the phone makes such decisions too..

First impressions are good of the S7 flat coming from the Note 3. Noticed a few lag moments, like when I moved an app icon to another page the phone didn't respond for about 10 seconds. Also had a random crash and the phone automatically reset. In general the performance has been impressive though.

The Otterbox Symmetry case I got from Amazon is just great, have the clear back and grey rim. Very confident It will protect the phone. Certainly the best battery life I've had compared to the other Galaxy devices I've owned, (S2, S3, S4, N3) but still miss the peace of mind of a removable battery. Have tried to avoid using fast charging as I'm worried it'll degrade the battery sooner.

Which memory card's have people opted for? I think I shall compromise with the 128GB Lexar Professional 1000x(£70), the 1800x(£180) is too pricey for my liking. That would mean my memory card is nearly half the value of the phone (if you don't buy for a silly price)

Samsung Pro+ 128GB.
