Did some testing with various QC3.0, QC3.0 and standard 5V/2A chargers today and found the following:

Code:
Lumsing QC2.0 40w 5 port wall adapter: 8.97V @ 1.63A	(screen on: 9.05V @ 0.68A)
Tronsmart QC2.0 5 port desktop charger (UC5F):	9.03V @ 1.63A	(screen on: 9.11V @ 0.56A)
Tronsmart QC2.0 3 port (W3CPC): 9.02V @ 1.63A	(screen on: 9.0V @ 0.57A)
Anker QC3.0: 9.10V @ 1.58A	(screen on: 9.06V @ 0.57A)
Stock Samsung adaptive fast charger: 9.17V @ 1.63A	(screen on: 8.99 @ 0.57A)
Aukey QC2.0 Turbo charger 9.05V @ 1.63A	(screen on 9.11V @ 0.57A)
Samsung Wireless fast Charger: 9.11V @ 1.31A	(screen on: 9.01V @ 0.8A)

I used a Tronsmart USB voltage/current meter.

Interestingly, even with a non QuickCharge adapter being used (I tested with an older Samsung 5V 2A one from the Note 3), the charge time is still fast. The S7 said it would have taken 57mins to charge to full, immediately switching to the 5V 2A non QC charger it said it would take 1hrs 5mins.

The Lumsing was the only one that sustained lower than 9V with the screen off.

SanDisk Ultra microSDHC 128GB £39.99

That's good value, I was just worried about the review I read when it said something about the phone slowing down. So I really wanted the UHS II card.

RE Cases, I got the Samsung official semi clear flipper so it will protect in my pocket and Im unlikely to scratch it during use.

Thanks for that MRK, I just got an Aukey QC2 so a bit disappointed to see the QC doesn't really add much however. I do fancy the wireless charger but not sure how efective it is.

The estimates are just that - estimates

Proper testing should show a QC2.0 charger to be noticeably quicker than a 10W charger for a full charge.

Especially going from 0-80%

Only back from holiday today, nice s7 edge to come home too lol, got a case for it but no screen protector yet, might pop into town and buy one tomorrow, so far so good with the basic usage ive been doing today - good start

Where from and how much? Amazon states 3-4 weeks delivery :(

From Spigen website. Its a pre order.

Looks like it only protects the back & sides and not main part the screen..

Yup I dont want to have to fold back a front cover or anything every time I use the phone. When its in my pocket the screen is towards my leg so is protected. Im at the point now I would rather use and enjoy the device rather than wrap it in cotton wool and be scared it might get damaged. If it breaks it breaks. I have insurance so not really the end of the world.

Nothing else goes in my right Jean pocket. Ever. Just my phone. Screen toward my leg.

I had my smart ultra 6 for a month or two with no issues. No hairline scratches. And that didn't even have gorilla glass :p

I don't understand how your screens are still perfect. I'll have micro-scratches on my screens within a few weeks...
Maybe it what they wear or which pocket they keep there mobile in...

I mainly wear jeans and keep my mobile in the back pocket.
Where track suit bottoms & trousers would be softer then jeans..
