**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Nope. Heh. Got away with it! Oddly enough the little nick Is just on the metal right next to the screen. So it was close!! :D

To be fair though when it is only something like £40-50 excess on most Bank Account Package insurance to get it replaced/repaired we all seem to be way too into our cases these days :p

Although I am rocking a case on mines at present...after my holiday in May I'll probably go naked with the phone S7 :)

Really liking this phone so far, only thing i'm not 100% Happy with is the case. An otterbox defender. It has covers for the headphone jack and the usb port , but these are folded back when in use and "bulge" when not in use now. Bit disappointed with that but think it's down to the design more than anything. Battery life is still great. I could put my S4 on the shelf at 50% and it'd be flat by the morning. The S7 will only be down to 47/45% at most!

Does anyone else get really bad shift between colours on a white screen? Like me. This is my second handset now the first would not charge but had a perfect screen second one is like this and it's annoying as hell

It's like theres too much contrast and also looks dirty

Having used mine for a few days now I'm liking it. Had a Note 4 previously which was started to slow down a bit, freeze occasionally so this feels like a huge leap forward. Very smooth and slick looking, battery life is great, camera is impressive, even TW with a theme applied has come a long way - I'd normally have installed a launcher by now but I've felt no need to. I do miss the s-pen as that was something I used. Overall though, glad I got it.

Is it possible to reduce icon size without installing a launcher? I like the theme I'm using atm but it has quite large icons...

When I plug my S7 in via the USB cable and try to create a new folder on the SD card using Explorer it simply hangs... very annoying.

You could install Nova, just the condensed trick then remove it.

Its more slight damage that worries me, if I was to smash the screen it would be an insurance claim which while annoying would be okay, but with a smaller scrape or scratch it wouldn't be worth it.

Automatic white balance in complex lighting is very impressive.

Think it about time i upgraded my mobile contract :D

But I don't know to go for
5GB data = £20 per month
or
15GB data = £25 per month

Looks like there a 1p charge for each MB of data used over the top..
