**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Samsung Service Center are really good, and i'm on my second S7 Edge and never had any problems with them at all, can't wait for the S8 :D

contacted Samsung and they cant send a courier so it would only be 10 days but cant offer a loan phone and told me to speak to three for a loaner so ill pop back in tomorrow and tell that Samsung sent me back to them as the contract is with them, either that or ill send the phone off with them and make sure they cancel payment until its returned.

I drive past the one in Sheffield twice a day and I'm not convinced I've ever seen anyone in it. Might be worth a trip down in case they can do something a bit sharpish?

Also, anyone had a <100MB update today? Just noticed this pop up.

Yeah, just did a manual check and have the same update.

Somebody mentioned them pausing the Nought rollout due to an issue, so if that's true I guess maybe it's to fix whatever the problem was?

Is this update just for the Edge? Not got it on my regular S7. That said my CSC is still XEU as I flashed nougat with home_csc (I think it's that one - the one that doesn't wipe the phone?)
 
Not sure about XEU, I'm BTU and did everything OTA. I guess it's because you flashed via Odin that it isn't seeing the OTA?
 
Yes I think it is so Mrk. Not getting the update OTA because I'm still on XEU. Had a look on XDA last night. Standard S7 (on BTU) is getting the update pushed to them.
 
Has anyone bought a phone case from wrappz? I just got a personalised one and it's absolutely amazing for looks and feel - definitely the best I've had and I've had a lot and am really fussy.

If so, highly recommended even for the case alone! Cracking piece of kit
 
It's part of Galaxy Apps and the like that use internal billing processes, the service updates itself from time to time.

Funny how my unlocked S7E still hasn't got an OTA update for Nought yet but my Nvidia Shield Tab did yesterday :confused: Nvidia is usually never quick for anything Android wise.
 
I've had the Nougat update on my unlocked S7E for awhile now, anybody noticing the worse battery life that's being reported? I've honestly not been paying close attention, but all seems fine on my end. Maybe it's a relatively small difference? The performance boost is worth it regardless if it's a slight reduction
