The size looks quite incredible. 5.7 inch display in a phone smaller than the current S7?!

I'm hyped for this one, my S6 is limping on at the moment with a trashed screen so the sooner this arrives the better!

my contract is up in march and i'd intended to walk out of that and buy an S8 a few weeks later. Unfortunately the screen on my note 4 has give up completely so im without a phone right now!I need a phone so it's either get a new screen and sell the note 4 when im done with it, or bin the note 4 and get a cheap Chinese phone to tide me over. Either way i'm not too impressed
If they do, no doubt the mini variant will be gimped in some way.

I know right ? I had the z3c for a year or so (in fact I still have it as a last resort back up) and it's still as lightning fast as when I first got it.
Amazing specced little handset. With a stellar battery life to boot. Mainly because of the 720p screen, which was good enough.
I'm in the same boat as people who say anything bigger than 5" is just too big. I have an honor 8 at the moment, while the screen is fantastic I still feel it's a tad large for what I use it for.
I had a Note 4 for 18 months. I convinced myself bigger was better. Currently using a S7 and the physical size in my hand is better (ladies!). My current contract times out End of April. Let's see what happens but I'm a, little perplexed where the finger scanner will be on current information and leaks. If the headphone jack goes ill be 'kin cross.
My contract was over in August, damn note 7 had me waiting for this for too long

Word is that the S8 will feature an autofocusing front facing camera as well, probably a 16MP unit. It's an effort to make the front camera almost as good as the back camera of previous generation flagships.

That looks like an absolute nightmare to use 1-handed - as in practically impossible.
It's all good and well looking amazing, and if this is true then it probably will and sell bucket loads as a result, but this is terrible for usability and I really hope it doesn't set a trend.

Indeed. I wonder if this is going to suffer from the same false touch problems as the S7 Edge.

No because it will use the revised touch rejection at the edges like the Note 7 had, perhaps even revised version of that.

I got bored in the end and bought a Xioamiamai Note 4 (I think thats how you spell it) just for kicks.
