**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus Thread ****

That's unfortunate, anyone know what happens you don't pay the £75? do they take it from payment card automatically? I honestly thought they would refuse or do similar with the S4 I sent in for trade in, cant believe they gave £95 or thereabouts for a beaten up S4
No idea. I've had no follow up yet and they can't just charge your card without authorisation. The vibrate worked fine.

Anyone else using a mesh wifi at home and having issues? The phone says it's connected but WhatsApp web says the phone is disconnected and I have to toggle wifi to get it to work. I'm using Netgear Orbi routers.

Another update for S9. Just downloaded and install later. A few fixes I think..

Still no return pack here, not even had an email from Samsung either asking where my trade in device is.

Do you have the single or dual SIM version? I've not had an update since I got mine on March 19th and I have the dual SIM.

I got this update in the early hours, about 317mb. I have single SIM version and on Vodafone if it makes any difference.

I'm sure they will catch up with you, strange though they not send you the reminder email. It's a wonder my pack got to me as half the address missing from the letter.

Update arrived on my dual SIM s9 just now :) Although it's 287.70mb.

Yes, as is mine. What did you do? Return or get a replacement?...was the new one better if so?

Returned it after a week, once seen.., holding out for the next note but had new gadget syndrome

iPhone 8 Plus at the moment , huge difference in screen sharpness with things like Youtube hdr but the black thing killed it

As a follow up. I ignored the first email as it looked like it could easily be a scam.

Today I got another as well as a text message from the same number that my DPD delivery details were from for my S9+ so I know it was legit. Called Samsung to get a number for the returns people, called them and asked about just having the device returned as with a £96 trade in discount and then a £75 surcharge the phone would only be worth £21 becase of a "weak vibration" which is utter tosh. Was told to reply to the latest email and make the request and that it should be possible.

Anyone using the heartrate sensor on the S9+ and getting it work correctly? 4/5 when using measure in the Samsung health app it tells you to make sure you're covering the sensor correctly, this is despite the heartrate graph moving up and down implying it's picking it up just fine? Any tips?

This "Black Crush", people are posting screen shots to highlight the issue and then saying it's due to the screen and how OLED's are, if this was the case wouldn't the issue reflect on a screenshot? As that's software not hardware and the screenshot only shows as good as the monitor that it is been viewed on. Confused.

I just read that the black crush problem isn't hardware but software. Which also is affecting pixel with the latest/quite recent updates.
