To be fair to you I didn't notice it either, it was only when someone here said about it and I looked really closely! Then I just saw lots of other people on XDA had done the same as you guys. :D

It was quite a bugger to get it off at first, but once I had the corner up it came off nicely leaving nothing behind.

I wonder if Sony intend for you to take it off (like most plastic screen covers that come on phones) or its actually a proper factory fitted one that is designed to stay on.

Not sure, it was installed really well but scratched very easily and peeled off like it wasn't a bad thing to be doing (once I got the corner up). The X10 had a similar cover and everyone seems to have removed that after a while (a lot fit new ones though). I'll let you know how the screen stands up to my abuse as I'll probably keep this phone until I get an SGS2 - the camera is so much better than the Desire that I'd be silly not to.

I need to order a new screen protector as mines a bit scratched, 99p from eBay didnt last long. LOL

Just pop Go Launcher EX on it and you can do it there!!.. :)

Plus loads more tweaks you can't do in the Vanilla SE launcher!!

Hmmmm 1.86Ghz...... Its a bit more nippy. LOL

Holy Thread Revival Batman!!!..

Anyhew...

Anyone else with and Arc have a problem connecting their phone to their computer??.. (or any other Android phone for that matter!!)

I'm connecting in MTP mode and want access to the SD card aswell so the 'unmount the SD card' fixes I've seen online are out!! :) .. basicaly Windows (7 home premium and 7 Professional.. both 64bit) keep throwing a flids and not 'starting' the device when plugged in!!

I have found that sometimes changing from Debug ON to OFF and back again a few times it will connect!!... and other times Stopping the MptApp in the running processes and re-connecting the phone will work too!!

Its getting very annoying having to do this just to connect the phone and sync it or update my music or even 'update' (when a new OS is available) etc..

Anyhew back on track.. anyone know of a way to get my phone to 'connect' every time, first time with no problems???..

Cheers Doods!!..

OTA update is out for the Xperia Arc. Just updated mine to the latest version. SE really have upped their game.

Aparently my phone is 'up to date' but still only on the 2.3.3 from last month!!..

Come on Vodafone!!.. Get yer finger out!! :(

Oh no.... Vodafone need to approve the update before it can be applied.

Id recommend re branding the handset to a generic firmware.

Has anyone got the livedock yet?

Shame about all the wires sticking out but it looks a better solution to Motorola's proprietary docks (which needs correct HDMI/USB spacing etc)

They are not out yet are they? I did have a look the other day...

Hmmmmm now do I trade the Arc for a Arc S tomorrow :p

Cool beans.

I did unlock mine already with the pin to ground method, so can't wait for CM7 - will prob put it on my X10 too.
