the graphics were very nice. i just kept it on ultra as being a beta, didn't really fancy messing around too much. But on full release i look forward to putting the 1080ti to work and maybe even overclock.

Pay to win doesn't bother me. When i joined the game there was already people far ahead of me but because i actually have skill, it didnt matter for me.

I'll just grind the game on release. I want a decent sniper and heavy class
 
After what EA did to Revive I've cancelled my pre-order and purchased Escape from Tarkov.

I am so sick of EA and the selfish money driven **** they pull. I get they have to make money, but don't just destroy a community still playing their old games to force people buy their new ****.
 
the massive middle finger that the gaming community has given to the loot box craze recently seems to be having an impact:

All you need to do now is not bother buying into the **** anyway, because they are clearly aware of the need to keep people onside and stumping up cash for it.

Think they might be starting to see through the dollar signs floating in front of their eyes to the masses turning their backs on this practice.

What i got from that is the not so good weapons will be available via achievements but the godlike weapons you'll have to pay for, pretty much emphasising the 'pay to win' aspect even more.

Let's face it, EA are not going to heavily 'nerf' loot boxes as the intent was to make income off of it (and a lot of it), so take what EA has said regarding them with a grain of salt as they still have to sell the product so their words will be said in a way that can still entice players into purchasing the game.

Remember, they said this game will have no DLC but the catch was these loot boxes, so the 'too good to be true' aspect is still valid in this instance as well.

Played a little multiplayer, which was pretty much unchanged from the beta. Played some of the single player campaign, brilliant cutscenes, rubbish AI, but the campaign really made me wish that someone would do a single player reboot of Dark Forces.

I hope this game fails massively otherwise future games are going to take up this crap, which means the game industry, at least where online/semi-competitive shooters are concerned will be dead to me and I'm sure many others as well..... BF 1 could very well be my last EA/FPS purchase if this is how things will go.

Really am worried about the next BF game now if this pay to win system succeeds as you can be guaranteed BF will adopt it too.....

Have to laugh at x though, gives of about it yet he went and give $90 to the system :rolleyes: But unfortunately this is the world we live in now, no one has any will power or principles, they just bend over and let companies go in dry.
 
So the Ronku whores and all the other early adopters not only get to play a week early, they get to level up a whole week worth and buy all the cards to make themselves superbeasts with huge advantages in prep for release. Just marvellous.

I love Star Wars but I hate all this BS.

Whats a ronku? I mean, I'm playing now (thanks to my EA/Origin subscription) so I'm not sure if that means I am Ronku or not, is a ronku someone who buys the cards?

Ronku is the EA sponsored program for the youtubers in which they pay the tubers for the content...which in turn basically means they never ever talk honestly and openly because they're to worried about loosing out on all those freebies.

We all remember Hardline being touted as the best game ever, then how amazing SWBF was etc etc. Just EA ponies.
 
Ignoring graphics, it's still a big step backwards from the old BF2 in just about every area.

EA do not make good games any more and they need to have the Starwars licence taken off them. Because they are using it purely as a profit machine. Relying on the IP to sell their lackluster product to loyal SW fans.

Ahhh ok, yeah I've seen youtubers who do stuff like that. Good to know that I'm not ronku for playing a week early through subscription ! :D
