**The Official Star Wars Battlefront II Thread (PC)**

I’m really enjoying the MP, given I’ve only just started using a keyboard and mouse for online shooters (albeit after 200 hours of practice shooting animals in hunter call of wild) I’m much better at aiming now so kinda break even in the kd which isn’t far better than when I was with an Xbox pad!

The class system seems taken straight from BF1 just tar more complicated.

Good graphics and fun maps

Its a basic cheesey shooter for nubs.... personally love it!

Just please keep an eye on posts about what EA do. If they go back on micro transactions dont ever buy any!

For the rest of OCUK go read the comments on sponsored posts on facebook, they'll make your blood boil... Top comment saying i work 6 days a week, i bought a few boxes to help me out, whats the problem..... Thats what we're up against.
 
How can you argue it when you willingly gave them the money for the game in the first place mate?

You've even admitted that you know what they are doing is wrong but you'll buy it anyway.

I'm not even saying this from an 'I told you so' point of view. The (star) cards were on the table a week ago and youve still sheeped your way into the whole debacle because 'theres nothing better to play'.

No, maybe there isnt. Maybe not giving one of the worst companies in the gaming industry nearly £50 of your hard earned despite THE ENTIRE ****ING GAMING PRESS saying it was a bad idea wasn't good enough.

'Oooh I love it, btw make sure they dont bring back those microtransactions!'

Don't think youre the right person to give purchasing advise to gamers around here...

Could your post been more of an arse? Some people may like the game itself despite the loot box issues.

The entire press did say loot boxes are a massive issue also said there is a good game in there but gimped by the boxes, which again some people won't care same as some people won't buy the boxes regardless
 
I’m enjoying the game but the whole loot boxes thing has made levelling up unnecessarily complicated. Would I pay for loot boxes? Yes I would because time is more precious than money to me and I only paid £29.99 for the base game. Would I rather a far less complex levelling sysyem that didn’t rely on money or grinding. Hell yes!
 
My stance is whilst I've bought the game I'll refuse to buy loot boxes even when brought back in, that's how ea will make there money overall, I mean they make more from fifa ut than they do selling the game itself I suspect they Hope this will be same problem is least fifa was made fair for all imo this isn't
 
How much freedom to roam is there in the campaign?
is it like COD where you are closely guided to the next level or can you wander around off the script as it were but still find plenty of action?

Very limited freedom to roam. It’s very linear like COD. I’m rubbish at shooters and it was really no challenge even for me.

Now playing MP and the grind is real. You have to get to level 10 to upgrade your cards but the points requirement is massive. Dread to think how much time the people with 3 purple cards have spent on this. Or money before the rules changed.

Had a good heroes and villains match though kicking ass as Rey even with no cards.

Do you think buying the game and also being willing to buy loot boxes is going to change that at all ? You're exactly their target demographic and they've made the system especially for you

I really don't understand the cognitive dissonance some of you guys have

By buying loot boxes you're solving a problem you've created yourselves by being willing to buy loot boxes

If nobody bought loot boxes ever, then games would have a far less complex levelling system that didn't rely on money or grind

The mentality of some gamers who are blindly destroying the quality of gaming is really dumbfounding

That's a predicted let down then, as I'm not interested in MP anymore I think I'll wait till the price drops
 
Any one else get a odd stutter online? My fps is fine always above 60, I did turn on vsync as the tearing was horrible still goes to 68 but this random stutter I get is driving me up wall
