How can anyone actually say that this "looks amazing" when all it is is two minutes of pre-rendered video with no gameplay in sight?
The trailer looks amazing. I'm not saying that the gameplay looks amazing, obviously, as you are right in that there is no gameplay shown. I'm pretty sure people have got excited over games before without having inspected gameplay footage.

If you're saying that they rely on the excitement whipped up by these trailers to acquire preorders and early adoption, then yes, you are right, but it doesn't stop this (the trailer) looking pretty rad, and it doesn't stop me getting excited for the game that the trailer is for.

My excitement is also building, but I still won't pre-order, and I'll wait for feedback from actual players rather than "professional" review sites.

However, here's another reason to be slightly hopeful; the story for the single-player campaign is being written by the lead writer for Spec Ops - The Line.

Glad to hear that EA are listening and fixing everything that we hated with the first i.e. (well really it is just smart selling practices, sell a **** version that people will buy regardless and then cash in on the real game second time round....)

- classes
- more content i.e. clone wars and more
- no more silly pickup a token on the BF and disappear into a vehicle, you can actually enter the vehicle as you would with BF vehicles
- customise your guns

As for gunplay, I will wait to see what it is like for myself first, aside from Xfactor, the EA ronku whore lot are too afraid to speak out about the retarded gun mechanics in BF 1. SWBF gun play was far better than BF 1 gunplay imo. Hopefully it will return to BF 4 gunplay but will more than likely be BF 1 gunplay due to it being designed around console controller users.

Good article in this month's PCGamer magazine - arrived through the letter box yesterday and quite a good report.
Of course, it's really what everyone wants at the moment, rather than what is definitely coming.

Quite looking forward to SWBF2. Recently started playing SWBF1 again but I don't have any of the DLCs. Also seems to almost always have at least one hacker per game. Hopefully they have a better anti cheat in next one.

I've been playing SWBF a fair bit lately and haven't encountered any hackers yet (I just play walker assault mode)
