Doubt it, would be pretty evident when you try and install at 70GB game and it falls on its arseIs it as easy to spoof the capacity of an NVME SSD as it is with an SD memory card? You know, those 982GB SD cards you can get for £10 which are 64gb cards in disguise.
hahahahaha. It's only like 7 working days though so far. Mine said 3-5 and took 6.
Downloaded a bunch of games on to my 512GB SDXC card last night and had a go on some of them and happy with it. Nice to have a Steam Deck again.
@Nitefly So nice being able to play Resident Evil Remake on it. Going to try Resident Evil 2 Remake tonight![]()
You tried Celeste yet?
Yeah but I mean I've had packages from Japan, China and the USA quicker. This was just next door lol.
Haha at least you're not on your own, Valve aren't the best with their distribution are they!
Tonight hopefully. It is installed and waiting![]()
Oh I see, you did it direct from the deck to an external hard drive!Eh?? I have no idea what you're talking about there bud. I've done it.
I backed up a full system image (OS 3.5.5) from my old LCD deck onto an external hard drive using clonezilla. Sold that deck.
I then restored the backed up image onto my new OLED deck using clonezilla.
You actually do it without a PC too, though you do need a wired keyboard and a powered but any cheapo usb hub.
What has having multiple M2 slots in your PC got to do with anything?
Yep, definitely seems like a genuine western digital drive.I see yours arrived quickly too @teaston, we got a great deal there.
I ordered mine on the 19th and it's still not shown up with Parcelforce yet.21st.
The Taliban took control of Afghanistan quicker than Valve can send a Steam Deck to me.
