Is it as easy to spoof the capacity of an NVME SSD as it is with an SD memory card? You know, those 982GB SD cards you can get for £10 which are 64gb cards in disguise.
Doubt it, would be pretty evident when you try and install at 70GB game and it falls on its arse :D

Downloaded a bunch of games on to my 512GB SDXC card last night and had a go on some of them and happy with it. Nice to have a Steam Deck again.

@Nitefly So nice being able to play Resident Evil Remake on it. Going to try Resident Evil 2 Remake tonight :D

Haha at least you're not on your own, Valve aren't the best with their distribution are they!

Mine came quick. 3 working days, I can't complain :)

Hopefully they learn from all this for Stream Deck 2. If not and for example they have supply issues I will just flip that too and wait for stock to normalise and get a discounted one. Win win either way :D

Tonight hopefully. It is installed and waiting :D

Enjoy. Moved onto Dave the Diver now, which is another super addictive game.
Did briefly try out F1 '23 & Endless Dungeon, both run & look great on the deck I would've stayed on ED as well but the generator bugged out and got stuck when I was escorting it to the next level so i turned it off :D

Dem Celeste feels - hurrrrrgnnn.

This track is such a Rocky-esque ‘run in a thunderstorm / training montage’ theme :D

I really find the ‘plot’ of the game is just profoundly beautiful. The way Madeline finally ‘realises’ that she needs to drop away ‘the part of herself’ as a solution for her problems…
… only to realise that isn’t the best solution… and that she instead make peace and accept the conflicting parts of herself … with the end result being …
… their powers combining and her getting a double jump to climb the ‘mountain’… that is just… poetic!

Mountain = life, in case anyone needed that spelling out for them :o :p

Just done a reimage on mine and bluetooth is still dead, RMA time I think :(
Any linux uses know a thing or two? bluetoothctl shows "No default controller" (and list returns nothing) but rfkill shows the bluetooth device id :-S

Will you lot shut up about bloody Celeste. I go to bed and I have dreams someone is just repeating it over and over.

Peer pressure wins again, I'll have to buy it. Ooh I wonder if dream person is TNA.

Edit: On a plus, I am comfortable with how to do the SSD swap as soon as I get it because I watched the guides.

Eh?? I have no idea what you're talking about there bud. I've done it.

I backed up a full system image (OS 3.5.5) from my old LCD deck onto an external hard drive using clonezilla. Sold that deck.
I then restored the backed up image onto my new OLED deck using clonezilla.

You actually do it without a PC too, though you do need a wired keyboard and a powered but any cheapo usb hub.

What has having multiple M2 slots in your PC got to do with anything?
Oh I see, you did it direct from the deck to an external hard drive!

Well, an NVME enclosure it much cheaper than an external hard drive ;)

21st.

The Taliban took control of Afghanistan quicker than Valve can send a Steam Deck to me.
I ordered mine on the 19th and it's still not shown up with Parcelforce yet.

It's been in the delivery network since the 24th and been on it's way to the "final parcel centre" since the 28th.

I've got a Keychron keyboard on the way from China that I ordered on the 25th, I'm convinced it's going to be here before the Steam Deck.

I had ordered the Dock and Deck together and didn’t realise that they would be shipped separately…

The Dock arrived today which made me discover the 2nd GLS tracking number, the deck is still in transit some where… awesome…
