Bah, the :rolleyes: was meant to be a :eek: didn't mean it to sound as though i was annoyed or anything...

Have to admit they do fix things fairly fast in sup com... eg the shield/mass eploit to be fixed in next patch v soon...

Complexity? It's just Warcraft with pretty graphics.

Strip away the eye candy and it would run on a 386.

on low it looks pretty much like dog turd. Im sure theres someone out there that could make it run without a graphics card much like someone did to quake 3 running on voodoo.

bet it doesnt run too well with 8000 units on a 386 though.

I remember redalert running like total crap on 8 player skirmish and the unit limit was about 1 or 2 hundred on that wasnt it?

personally, what i would rather have is a 2D version of supreme commander with the same amounts of units that runs perfect on newish hardware. You cant lock the space bar mode anyway, so its purely for eye candy and looking back over replays

ever seen warcraft, it looks bloody aweful even with everything graphical detail turned to its maximum

Would like to see a 386 calculating the accurate trajectories of potentially thousands or objects being shot at each other. Thats before you mention the moving vehicles and the AI :p
 
Definatly can u have plenty Air units that can counter other air units like gunships....

I just came back from a 2hr match with m8, had two fatboys attacking his base with tons of interceptors and support in case his 100s of gunships tried to take me out and they almost took out one of the fatboys:)

May post the madness that was a bit later on thats if its saved:)
 
I hear you can attach ground units to transports and use them as air to air offence. Is this be true?
 
I have heard that also, so today I put 5 transports/ all armed with tech 3 bots and then sent them over... sadly they didnt all fire... at least dont think they did.

2 or 3 of the transports blew up as they were transporting to the ground :(

That was removed in a patch. as you could fill transports with a few siege bots and a shield gen and it would be immensely hard to kill.
 
can use t1 transports with t1 bots (only bots though) to be used as t1 gunships... i won a game with 5 of them on a commander after 5 mins :D
