I never scroll the traditional way.

I zoom out, move the mouse to the location I want to focus on, then zoom in again. I do it without thinking, but it's just as handy to get you from one end of the map to the other as it is to move half a screen (you just zoom out different amounts). I love the 'strategic zoom' feature in this game :)

same as me. yes the scrolling is stupidly fast. Like said above mousewheel down, move pointer to place on map then mousewheel in.

So you're saying air units CAN attack other air units? :)

Wasnt my question for one :p ive seen some replays where people have like 300 interceptors just waiting for any air trouble lol

Its like watching fleas attacking a cat :p

Lol I do that - always have loads of interceptors patrolling the base(s). At least until I've got enough tech 2 flack built.

To refuel aircraft, all I have to make them do is make the patrol path go over a refueling depot right? I keep finding my planes landed and empty all over the map!!

And does anyone else have problems setting patrol paths sometimes? Sometimes it just won't link the waypoints into a circuit, it just keeps adding waypoints :(

ah right :-) Yeah, i was AFK

yup, played a fair few ranked. seems to be about 50/50 if i get my ass handed to me or not

I've just played this again after not playing it for about a month and the performance has increased loads!

Was hosting a 4 player vs 4 CPU LAN game and it ran so much smoother.. Have they patched it and made it good? Or is it just that my new RAM has allowed me a better overclock for the game to run smoother?

They have indeed released a patch that was supposed to increase performance a bit, but the higher overclock should help too :D

btw dis, gg :)

hmm it seems i can play supreme commander, but not for long, as it occasionally crashes and boots me to desktop :( im running XP, latest drivers, and the game is fully patched up. any help?

Ive had one complete system reboot  and then a unknown error

And Ive just re-installed it and patched up tonight :(

They should just land on the pad regardless and then go back to the patrol path, you shouldnt have any planes sitting on the ground atall unless you havent looped a proper patrol path. They will land if you just create a straight line patrol path, in other words if you dont join up and loop it.

Holding down shift and clicking left mouse button when selected on an air factory or set of planes should set it up no problem, then holding down shift again will show the patrol path so you can manually move the waypoints if you want to.

I am having the same problems as well, It seems to run for about 15 - 20 mins then it crashes out. I disabled the on guard on my norton anti virus and that seems to have had some effect. Though it still seems to crash on occasion. Its so annoying cause I love this game and yet I cannot put my skills from TA to use..
