are any of you part of some clan, OCUK or otherwise?

i'm really enjoying the game but need organised 2v2 or higher matches, and to work as part of a team.

I did that with cybran monkey lords not too long ago, was playing against 4 supreme AIs and just run them over with them.

How big is the map btw?
How many engineers you use?
Did you notice signifecant slowdown?

Not a cpu.... Although whilts i was doing this, my opponants fully upgraded cybran commander walked nto my base and too out absolutely everything... (serves me right for having 100 T3 mass fabs placed next to one another :D)

None, ALT + uparrow or downarrow... just one of the UI's that came with one of the early patches..

20x20.. seton's clutch
no engineers, had 40 fully upgraded SCU's on the job though ;)
No slowdown, unless i was constantly zooming in and out of that lot, then it became a little jerky.. ran happily at +5 throughout the game..

Cool, I gota try the SCUs, I've been using engineers :o :rolleyes:
 
Didn't have a single power generator on the map :D All the SCU's had resource allocation, and had faster build upgrade and faster HP regen upgrade..

Here's a nice tip... the hp regen upgrade is damn good, can send the SCU into a line of PD and he lasts for ages... if you are playing a game where your opponant is really well dug it, try sending a bunch of these in just in front of your main attack force, the SCU's will take all the fire leaving the rest of your units to destroy his front line ;)

I have seen a few pro demo's where they actually use the hp regen upgraded SCU's to build defence outside their opponants base, they just soak up fire... it really is crazy how fast they regenerate theit hit points...

god i hated this game when i first played it - is it just me or does it take some real effort to get into it - its not a grab you by the face and slap you silly sorta game?
 
OK, I need help with one of the UEF SP missions. It's the one where you have to destroy the Aeon base on the island. The problem is with their ACU Eris (?) - I can't even so much as scratch him. I've got the island surrounded, landed ground units in at the weaker south side.....but as soon as I advance into the middle he takes out my units with one shot and none of my units even do any damage to him whatsoever :(

Why is he pwning me in such a righteous fashion? :o
 
Can you build t2 ships by then? if so, build some, shell the poo into him, can't remember how i did it :o
