Or get one from ocuk and they deliver for free. They have a decent clip on mic last time I looked. As kiwi said loads of high street shops will sell cheap mics.

I wish, unfortunately HiRez are against giving out dedicated servers due to their free to play model, nothing I'd love more than a Linux server client.
You buy servers with Gold, costs 2000 Gold for 90 Days, 4000 Gold costs £21. So £21 for 180 days, not too bad.

Thats good. I currently pay 20 euros (approx £16) a month for a dedicated Q3 server based in NL. So £21 for approx 6 months is a steal! Something I may consider if I get into it deep enough. Certainly means clan servers for practice/scrims become a whole lot more economical on the wallet

For those of you unaware how NASL went, here is some feedback:
- The games maintained 20,000+ viewers, by the end of the event we had ~23,500 viewers.
- The crowd was getting into it, cheering when a team capped, cheering when someone made a good play.
- Chat at first was 'What is this, this is horrible to watch, what is happening?', 'I'm confused' but eventually turned positive, people saying they will download the game, even comments on how good the maps look and it being fun to watch.
The camera work could have been better, but despite the pretty rough camera work.. people still managed to enjoyed it.
Overall a very positive event, people seemed to enjoy it despite most of the crowd being SC2 fans, players. It's certainly looks likely we'll see an NASL season two, rumours are already flying round IRC, that there are talks of one.

I was in the stream too for a while and I saw the same kind of initial response from people; they weren't sure what they were watching. Thankfully Bart was briefly explaining certain aspects of the game as they happened (punting, e-grab, etc) and all of sudden people both in the chat and at the event were catching on quickly and getting really enthusiastic.
Do have to agree with you on the camera work, though. It would have been great if they had multiple cameras covering bases, cappers, the midfield, etc, and then having someone switch between them as the action takes place in different areas.
Hopefully the Season Two rumors are true, and it'll be even better next time

All we need is some billionare Tribes player to invest the funds required to get some of these add-ons that we have requested, demo support, enhance spectator support, better menu system, stats support, better community support etc etc.
Thank god there is nothing massively wrong with the gameplay itself, unlike every other FPS game currently out!
