** The Official WWDC 2012 Thread **

hmmm what does this mean? Previewing IOS6 or releasing it? Because its a little early to start saying it'll be out in October?

It'll be a demo of new major features and the release of iOS 6 Developer SDK kit and iOS 6 BETA to allow developers time to update their apps to the new version.

I'd imagine the final release of iOS 6 won't be until the end of summer along with the new iPhone.

It'll be the same story with OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion, they'll show new features and seed a new BETA to developers.

They MUST Include a better GFX card for these iMacs. A mobile card is just not good at all for gaming and performance wise. I know they don't have a lot of room inside the iMacs for bigger and faster cards but they need to Reach out to the people that want to game on a imac!!!

Really? This again?

I'm sorry but if I am spending $3000 on a iMac I expect it to have decent graphics at least..

iMac's are not gaming machines, and the stuff they have are perfectly capable of playing every title released with reasonable (to me anyway) settings.

There's just not enough space and cooling for a desktop standard GPU.

Just out of curiosity couldn't you have a few mobile chipsets working together to equal the performance of one highly regarded card?

How many mobile chipsets would it take?

I take it you're going to spend $3000 on an iMac to install Windows on it too?

At the time of release, the 6950 really was comparable to what many enthusiasts were buying. Even now, it offers reasonable performance. Common sense tells us that a desktop card won't fit into this enclosure, so goodness knows what card you expect.
