The 15" MacBook Air M2 looks like a nice product. The only problem is once you have increased the unified memory to 16GB and the SSD to 512GB, it will cost £1,799. You can actually get the 16" MacBook Pro M1 for £1,855.

My old man has the M2 Air 13” - it’s fantastic until you sit it next to a 6 year old MacBook Pro and then you realise how budget they’ve gone with the screen. It looks awful by comparison.

Thanks for the mental note to never put my Air next to a MBP then :D I'm happy with the M1 13" Air, it's a really nice machine, and using it in isolation the screen "feels" nice.... *shrug*

It’s a great bit of a kit for sure, I’m just saying when you compare it to a MBP or even an iPad Pro you really notice the difference with the screen. It’s probably fine for 99% of users though, I’m picky about these things as an amateur photographer.
