The S that I initially purchased was noisy with the well known 'ticking' fan, I found it very intrusive in a small room. The replacement was much better but I could still here it and hence have sold it for that very reason as I wanted to use it with the TV at low volumes. I would say the noise issues are only an issue depending on your personal needs, use, and perception of what is too noisy or not.
 
I have two fish tanks in my lounge so I'll never get "quiet" so it's more about build quality I guess

I love the Dishonored style but the XB1 release is horrible, check out 2:16 in this video for an example

When you move it gets worse, you can actually see anything beyond about 20m get blurrier the instant you start walking. It's so bad that it actually impacts the game because you can't tell who is an enemy or a citizen.

It's not motion blur, it's just regular blur. Check the video and you'll see what I mean. I just finished replaying the Definitive edition and that is sharper than the sequel. I wish I was just exaggerating for effect :(
 
I can see the closer draw distance motion looks same on all but I'm watching on iPad. The draw distance is a lot shorter you can see it on the fence in the scene you mentioned.

Bit crappy that....
 
What's people's opinion on the different colour One S's? Whit looks nice but will stick out in my all black setup, Deep blue looks nice as does the Grey but which one would look best in a cabinet alongside other black stuff?

There's some decent deals at Game e.g. Grey 500GB Xbox One S with BF1 and COD for £259, can I just walk in to a shop tomorrow and buy it or do I have to order it for collect or delivery which could possibly next Tuesday?
 
Decided to order the above deal from game, before I placed the order for click and collect the website quoted 1 working day delivery to store, when I purchased it went to 2 days and on my email it's saying 2 - 3 days!!!
 
Can't seem to buy Dishonored 2 Limited Edition on the Xbox store, has anyone been able to? Xbox support just gave me the link to it, but it just says 'Not available.

Actually not sure i'm bothered, doesn't look very good on that video added above. What's with the dire resolution?

Received my replacement today. It's not any quieter might even be slighty worse. I asked if I could return the replacement but have to return the original or my card will be charged! Ffs
 
What's with the random crap download speeds for games? I can download Sonic at 25Mbps, yet i've ordered Dishonored 2 and it's coming down at a paltry 1.5Mbps.

Switching between the two and the download speeds stay high and low respectively.
 
Starting to see a lot of chit chat about the original Xbox games coming to the Xbone soon. It would be very nice indeed to have every single Xbox game playable on one console.
 
I tried game streaming over the internet last night. Setup my xbox one at home and was able to turn it on from my partners house using a python script i ran on a raspberry pi.

I then used my partners windows 10 laptop, connected the xbox one controller to it via usb and then connected to my xbox one via the xbox app over the internet.

Streaming was flawless at medium resolution, it struggled at high but think it may have been down to my upload only being 12mb with virgin.

Was amazed i could play battlefield 1 (campaign) on her laptop. Dont think she was too impressed that i will now be glued to the laptop though!! :)
 
Absolutely loving my Xbox One S, no fan noise at all and Blu ray Ultra
HD 4K HDR movies look amazing on my LG E6 OLED, nice boost in frame rates in many games also.

PS4 Pro has no UHD Blu ray drive which is a big loss and some games run slower than on the PS4, hilarious. :D
