My CAB2E is sitting at 2.340ghz at the mo, and I get a 1m Super Pi of 36 sec, so I'd think that 34 is a bit slow really....Try the 32m test that should show whether it's pulling its weight well or not.
Ok, just tried to run 32m pi test which wouldn't even start, it just comes up with some error, all made up of bar/pipe symbols!
I tried 16m pi, which ran but i'm pretty sure it's slow as it did 23 iterations and took 14m21s, with all programs closed down. The 20th iteration was 12m09s, if that makes any difference.

What ive managed to test up to, will see if this can do anymore :)

ok got it stable in two different senarious. Its ok when

148 @ 2900mhz
ram - 2.5-2-2-5 @ 211mhz

or

148 @ 2981mhz
ram - 2.5-3-3-6 @ 271mhz

both get the same super pi score give or take 1s. Which one of those 2 should i use? Not sure whether itmakes a difference in games or anything

the one with the ram at 271 i reckon.

try pi 32 meg. that's a good indication of decent stability. And try playing an intensive game for an hour or so.

Prime isn't the be all and end all, although i suppose if you're prime stable then nothing can hurt you ;)

This is as good as I'm getting with my 146:

This is a 146 on an Asus A8N-SLi Premium. I have vcore at 1.55 and vdimm at 2.8, but if I try HTT: 260 the system hangs at the first bios boot screen. My memory is OCZ 2gb (2 x 1gb) PC3200 Performance Series. Can anyone offer some suggestions?

Rain Man: What mobo are you using?

Merkin51: What batch (FPAW, FPBW, FPMW etc) is your CPU? And what batch number (last 4 digits on 3rd line of code)?

Cheers,

Suman

It's a CABYE 0540 FPMW, I'm afraid I didn't make a note of the other part before installation though! Do you set your memory timings manually or leave it to auto?

I set my timings manually. What HTT multiplier are you using? Try setting it down to 3x and see if that helps.

Suman

Yep, already using HTT multiplier of 3. I've basically set pretty much everything I can think of. I've tried setting my memory timings manually, setting it to 2t and with my mems default timings of 3-3-3-8, but still unable to go over 2.5ghz :/
