Ok, just tried to run 32m pi test which wouldn't even start, it just comes up with some error, all made up of bar/pipe symbols!danza said:My CAB2E is sitting at 2.340ghz at the mo, and I get a 1m Super Pi of 36 sec, so I'd think that 34 is a bit slow really....Try the 32m test that should show whether it's pulling its weight well or not.
Rain Man said:ok got it stable in two different senarious. Its ok when
148 @ 2900mhz
ram - 2.5-2-2-5 @ 211mhz
or
148 @ 2981mhz
ram - 2.5-3-3-6 @ 271mhz
both get the same super pi score give or take 1s. Which one of those 2 should i use? Not sure whether itmakes a difference in games or anything
snow patrol said:try pi 32 meg. that's a good indication of decent stability. And try playing an intensive game for an hour or so.
Prime isn't the be all and end all, although i suppose if you're prime stable then nothing can hurt you

Merkin51: What batch (FPAW, FPBW, FPMW etc) is your CPU? And what batch number (last 4 digits on 3rd line of code)?
