Hey,

Got really sick of my Asus board so I went and bought a DFI Ultra-D! Will it support my Opty out of the box? And what BIOS shall I use? Can I use the same version as the SLI-DR boards? Also can I transfer my RAID-0 array over from my Asus board?

Depends on what BIOS it comes with, but it should do. I use the latest official BIOS but the 704-2 is quite popular. Same BIOS for Ultra-D, SLi-D and SLi-DR I believe.

Can I used one of the modded BIOS like BigToe's or something? Apparwntly they are set up at default to be stable for DFI-noobs like me

Hehe, not sure I've never tried it. Find it hard to believe it's going to be default setup for every combination of hardware out there. Best setting it up yourself, but I've heard the 702-4BTA is very good but mine system is loving the 623-3 so I'm keeping with it.

You need to flash to latest bios, well the one dated 21 oct, it will then give you -volts

I think it's a bug in the form. I entered a multi of 10, a mem divider of 100 and a load temp of -27. However all came up as 9.99. :confused:

I just entered multi = 10, divider = 180 and it came up as 9.99 !!

so far on my 146 CABYE 0540

3070mhz occt stable, 3118mhz suicide

temps got a bit crazy (touching on 60*C) and with a maxtcase of 63 i didn't really want to take it further... my other 146 can do 3ghz occt stable and the 148 does 3.02ghz...

well if you all entered a number above 10 and it maxes at 9.99 perhaps it doesnt allow numbers higher than that.. just needs resolving by the creator

im happy at this with my 144 CAB2E 0540

To go up to 2.9 it needs a major voltage injection & is only prime stable for an hour or so , who needs a second radiator in a room anyway

. I'm just gonna spend time tighning things up now

i cant get my 144 CAB2E to boot into windows anythin above 2.4! :'(, even at 1.65v?? Ive really got no idea what it could be, then agen im not sure about ram deviders

anyone school me on that? i know the rest i think
