Hey <madness> do you have any pics you could post about taking the Shim of the CPU, i'd really like to see how AMD fitted it and how hard it is to take off. I can understand that temps can drop but i'm not convinced its such a good idea to take it off as it supports the heatsink so the core doesnt get damaged - otherwise AMD wouldnt of put it on surely?
Or does anyone have any links to someone whose done this?
