could someone help me, got my pc running at this atm but i am getting errors in prime95, ive upped the voltage, more on the ram and cpu and still getting the same, that is with using a mem diveder which is running at 255 i think. ive tryed nocking cpu down to 2.7 and got mem running at 270, tho i am getting same results with prime95.

anyone help?

have you tried upping the chipset and ldt voltage a little? My cpu can do 3Ghz but the mem controller is cack so my ram is on 200 even though it can do 300

I haven't had a chance to read the last 5 pages yet so this may only be new to me(?)

Anyway I got a 146 from OcUK the other day

(was back ordered) ,but it's a really wierd stepping that I've never heard of before!

It's a CACJE 0546 BPMW ,anyone else heard of them? any good at overclocking?
(I won't find out til next week once I have the mbrd & set it up etc)

At last, I own a decent 146!

10 Hours+ no errors!

It's a CAB2E 0540 FPMW. I'm still on air, btw, water cooling is too radical for me LOL.

from what I've seen these opterons perform equally as well on air as they do on water, maybe 100mhz extra on water. I'm sure this is more to do with new air cooler design, development and improvement, theres some seriously radical lookin passive/fan coolers out there!
I think I would consider water cooling only for its quiet running merits not its cooling capabilities.
phase is just in another league when it comes to performance and price imo.

My Opteron are idling at 32C and 45C under load, which i feel is fine. Water cooling is just not for me

Ive managed to get 2700mhz out of my 144 9*300 fsb

Any one got any more? im sure Mine could hit 3 Gig but the multi is locked
