*** The OS X Lion Thread ***

nate, you're in the wrong place...

System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Launchpad & Dock.

It's there. You've shown the preferences for Mission Control.

Found it, and configured ...

Thank you! I thought it would be in Mission Control.

Cheers Feek.

Hi all,

I keep having problems with sites such as YouTube, iPlayer, 4od etc.

When they are first loaded when the machine has just been booted up, come out of sleep or whatever it will freeze the whole machine and it will have to be reset via the power button every time.

I'm running Snow Leopard on a brand new iMac 21' i7 and i'm a bit worried it's the machine and not the OS. I'm still browsing in Safari, but it does it across all browsers.

Any idea? I have googled but not found anything like this being said.

Wow that's one expensive USB drive. Assuming it's 8GB it's 4x the price of a normal USB memory stick. I'll stick the copy I burnt to DVD.

Having a problem with SD cards 'since Lion was installed.

Basically, if i delete anything off an SD card (and empty trash) the space isn't made available..
The only way to get it back is to either 1) Format the card, or 2) boot into windows, open the SD card, close the SD card .. it now has the correct space.

Its not just a Lion display issue either, after deleting all the pics of an SD Card and attempting to take another image, figuring it was just a display bug, the camera had a full storage warning =/

Ideas?

is there an option to burn lion to a CD once you've downloaded it, I dont like the idea of not being able to re install if there is a problem and i'm not paying £55 for a USB drive lol!

I got my Apple MBP with Lion already installed today. However, on first boot, I didn't get the Apple song "do do do do". Other then that, I'M LOVING IT!

Yeah I've thought that was pretty cheesy :p

I actually wanted to see it. :(

Never the less, I do now see the appeal of Macs. They are really something else, I mean the quality is immense. The OS X Lion operating system so far seems good, will have to report back as I further use the machine. Everythings been flawless, now I just need to bring all my files across from the external HDD.

That's not in the Lion first time boot. Well I haven't seen it and I have done a couple of installs.

I loved that screen...

Yeah I guessed. First niggle is, why does it hang on a restart shutting down? I had to force it off, then restart so it got update itunes. :\ Is this a Lion problem then?

It doesn't fix the mid-2010 mbp 13" audio issue.

Just had to kill coreaudiod on restart to get my volume control back again. Very shoddy given the limited range of hardware they have to test it on.
