Bit of a late entry but I moved my 3080ti on for a nice price and managed to pick up a reference AMD Radeon RX6950 XT for £849! Loved the look of the reference design and it's nice and quiet so ticks all the boxes for me. Plus a cool card to mess around with until I see the lay of the land. Pics because it looks amazing

Cracking price and welcome. I've so far managed to resist buying one myself, but seeing the retail packaging and everything tempts me even further. It's a very quiet card at stock.

Thanks mate!! Yeah I was browsing around yesterday with the term reference and up it popped and I was like...hello!! Also some 6750 reference cards out there for a great price too. It just looks soooooo good and I'm damn impressed with the packaging, it just screams premium!

Yeah I was going to get one of those too, Lol. Ended up with a 6750 XT Red Devil instead to have a play with.

Thanks!! I need to do a proper job on the cable management but loving so much power in a small PC.

Also can confirm the 6950XT Reference is practically silent at full load, amazing!

Very important question...hugely important... can you disable the Red 'Radeon' branding? Or change its color?

The RGB can be changed and even toggled off using RGB software that’s included in the extracted driver package. It’s in one of the extracted folders before you install the driver.

Very nice, Would've loved to get a hold of the AMD reference 6950XT but couldn't find one, Ended up with the Sapphire 6950XT Toxic LE, Still a great card but would still have preferred the AMD version.

What sort of junction temps should I be aiming at? Had it running f1 22 4k 120 FPS everything on Ultra apart from RT which was medium and it was sat at about 88-92 depending on where on the track it was. I've undervolted a bit and the FPS is rock solid at 120 with FSR on, fan is set around 50% just interested to know what I should be hitting.

Did they shift the Junction throttle limit from the 6900XTU chips Matt? I recall they lowered them for that line for some (probably technical) reason.

XTXH was 95c, except the XTXH Red Devil which was 110c. Not sure if that was a mistake or not from Power Color.

KXTX is 110c for the MBA 6950 XT card. I believe it's the same for the other air cooled 6950 XT KXTX cards too. For the Toxic 6950 XT it's 95c.

Yeah its in my sons I could not too for the price. I think the fan profile is a bit conservative especially in this weather so I've tweaked it but its so quiet.
Plus I get the £100 game voucher so I can get Saints Row which I wanted. He's having Sniper Elite 5 as I already have it.
