The Radeon RX 6900/6950 XT Owners Thread.

It’s still damn expensive, our brains have just been wired over the past few years to think it’s reasonable. It’s good to finally see reference cooler stock though in the UK. Hoping that bodes well for the next gen…

Not quite on topic but brother in law bought a tent, it was in a dreadful state went through return process seller got it back refusing to refund and eBay sided with seller all because seller sent incorrect weight on postage label so brother in law had to get own postage which obviously didn't track on eBay system it's a new scam sellers are using to try avoid returns so beware. Although do think brother in law was naive with the tracking.

It’s fine for low/mid range cards (or old top end cards)… bargains for relatively low risk.

He should have contacted ebay and not sent the item back. Request a postage label from seller, by ebay CS if he fails to provide it then full refund is being issued without the return of their crap. Also, beware of seller requesting your email through messaging.
 
Folks do you know if this issue has been rectified in regards to LG C9 and VRR with AMD Cards?

For the moment I’ll be gaming on C9 which doesn’t have freesync but does support gsync. As this is a stop gap card, and I’ll be using the C9 for the next couple of months at least - I need to consider this. I really don’t want to be having frame tearing and stutters.

If this hasn’t been solved - I’ll buy myself a new 3080 Ti for the same price as the 6950xt. Although, Id love the latter.

Just upgraded from the 5700XT sapphire to the 6950XT sapphire pure and wow is it a beast! 3 slots and the white goes well with my case theme. <3
Got a GPU score of 10,773 in time spy extreme and 22,062 in normal with a slight memory tune and the OC bios switch position.
