Well it's arrived and installed and I *love* it!! Already had a quick test at 2750Mhz with an undervolt and seems ok. This one is a keeper @Kaapstad !!

I'll try and give you a heads-up when I see them next man, but as you know v v rare!! Clocking extremely well atm ;)

In a world where 3090 StrixOC's are now £2k then I don't feel that £1500 was extortionate...
 
Hello everyone
I've just picked up a sapphire mba, it's a lovely looking card.
Only had 30 mins to try it out this morning before work.
1st game I tried was RDR2, unfortunately I'm getting some artifacting In the top left corner, Grey and black pixels about 50*25mm square.
I tried it in normal story mode and benchmarked it and it was there in both.

I quickly tried 3 other games and didn't notice anything but one thing that struck me as odd is that when starting up all of the games, windows would make the noise it makes when something gets disconnected.

Does any of this seem off to you?

I'll hopefully get some time in the morning to test some more.

Forgot to mention I'm using two separate cables from my PSU which is a superflower 1000w which I think is platinum rated

DDU in safe mode and try the latest driver was released yesterday i believe.
 
has anyone got weird fps drop all of a sudden, my rig the other day was able to play all games silky smooth at 4k (100-120fps) but later on that day something went funny and now i see at best half of what i did and at the worst i see 42fps, i can se my card is pulling 300w and boosting around 2300-2400mhz in games prio to the waterblock fitment, after i did that the card is still the same, i've ddu'd 3-4 times now cleared shadow cache, and even updated my bios and reset all oc's on cpu and gpu but nothing is working.

is there anything i can do to fix this?

I did Use DDU and the latest drivers this morning as I was on Nvidia before.

Can't hurt to try again tho, I'll give it a bash

Any overlays running? If it's just one game then it does not sound like a GPU issue, perhaps driver related and specific to that game.

Can you reproduce it consistently in Red Dead? Are you running DX12 or Vulkan? Try the other. I find i get higher FPS in DX12.
