How have you found the XT drivers and RT? What res do you game at?
No issues so far. I prefer the AMD UI for their drivers. And no need to install third party software to tweak the GPU. I game at 3440 x 1440

I’ve just tried mine on stock 1100mv- it hit 3ghz! Not sure sure how much performance I gained however.See above, 1.040v is never going to work outside of short benching runs. Start at 1.090v.
The XT and XTX cards are power limited in most scenarios at maximum GPU utilisation. Therefore, you typically gain more performance by the following in order of importance:I’ve just tried mine on stock 1100mv- it hit 3ghz! Not sure sure how much performance I gained however.
The GPU will draw more power the higher the resolution.
RDR2 on ultra settings is what makes my card draw the most juice. It pulls 400 odd watts, but it looks so pretty I don’t care
What card do you have?
7900xtx pulse
Thanks will try out your recommendations. The XT and XTX cards are power limited in most scenarios at maximum GPU utilisation. Therefore, you typically gain more performance by the following in order of importance:
1. Maxing out the power limit
2. Lowering the core voltage (assuming stability is retained)
3. Ensuring the GPU and other components are as cool as possible
The GPU will draw more power the higher the resolution. This will mean that you can typically expect a higher core clock at 1080P Vs 2160P.
How are you finding it? Any coil whine?
I think its great. I don’t notice any coil whine it’s quite possibly there but ive never noticed any. I could probably try something like CSGO with the sound off and see if produces any.
How much is the Asrock compared to the Pulse?
the asrock is £975 and the pulse £900, not sure the fancy rgb and extra clocks are worth 75 quid.
The Tuf at £959 is probably the one to get at the moment.
The think most people respect Sapphire over Asus for AMD cards?
Most of my recent gpus have all been Sapphire, 6950, 7950, fury x and 5700xt. Never had an issue with them, infact I still have my 7950.
Yes, I really like the TUF and dare I say it, I prefer it over the Nitro+. I will admit though that overall the Nitro is the better out of the two, but not by much.Matt rated the Tuf and he’s probably tried most of the range. But you can’t go wrong with either to be honest.
Guys , just recieved by Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX - Do i need all 3X 8PIN PCIE connectors to power this up or is 2 ok ? I have three if need be .
