History and titles etc will transfer to the newco as has already been explained from multiple sources.
 
For once there is a wee ray of hope. Smith and co are seen with Rangers best interests at heart and aren't in just to make a few bucks. Mccoist seems to be forcing Greens hand. They just have to agree a price. I have a feeling there is a bigger picture appearing here, could be that someone has been very very clever.
 
So that's a yes they have been & a no they have not!

Feel sorry for th rangers fans, it was bad enough being a liverpool fan and watching the court case going on with the fear of administration, but the fear of going out of existence is awful.
 
There was never any danger of them going out of existence, the only danger was to the creditors they shafted along the way.

Sickening really, but thats business for you.

According to Jim Spence, two other clubs set to go down the same route if Rangers are voted back in the SPL. If thats not good enough reason to have them properly chucked out I dont know what is.

If they are going to do it with Rangers in the SPL they will do it without them also. Also where is spence peddling this? didnt read it on his blog.

Why does their title predating their company status still count towards their guiness world record of 54 titles won?

Why does european football's body still show florientina's pre 2002 titles

Except they where not liquidated, in Italy the courts take over the club (judicial administration).

Newco fc can claim rangers history just as much as I can claim to be the reincarnation of William Wallace ;).

I see that was roughly 1.2 million this year so bassed on a season ticket costing say 350 they will need to sell 3428 extra season tickets to cover the loss if TV money goes.

The company held the contract of the players the players played for the club. Same as anywhere else.

They can transfer witht he other clubs assets to the new company or they can leave.

Its really not that hard to grasp is it?

Or maybe it is.

No, im technically right, obviously like Fiorentina, Rangers will claim the history, but it will be a stick to beat Rangers with for years to come ;)

Another good point though, with keeping the history it of course means you have to accept the punishments of that, and they cant be run from with the new company, so the dual contracts investigation which could have been buried by this had Rangers given up the history will have to still have punishments attached.

The club wasnt an asset of the company, the club WAS the company.
