How much will a season ticket be in division 3?

I bought mine for Division 2 the other night and it was £170 so will probably be around that, possibly less varies between clubs though.

Rangers will probably still be around £500 or whatever they usually charge :p

I'd expect some players to now be flogged or released as paying SPL wages in 3rd Div is financial suicide.
Well done to the SFL clubs for voting for sporting integrity !!

No well done required, the sfl should never have been put on a position to vote in the first place ;)

In theory yes they did. The SPL refused Newco into the SPL, so the only place they could go was the SFL, in which a vote is required to bring in a new member.

What shouldnt have happened is the SFA and SPL saying anything less than the 1st Div would be financial meltdown and trying to force the SFL clubs hand.

As things stand, there is no mechanism for a SPL team to be relegated directly to the 3rd div (as far as I know).

But in my opinion the only body to come out of this with any credit is the SFL.

Livingston went via cva from SPL to third division automatically. Same rules should have been applied to rangers.
Livingston were screwed over by being asked to pay a £720k bond to the SFL to allow them to play in the SFL1. Apparently being unable to stump such a large amount of cash meant that they were more likely to survive if they played in SFL3.

Just read the Sun, how much longer can Regan last?

Won't be long now since a vote of no confidence was delayed at Friday's meeting. The latest revelations are just highlighting what others were reporting about various meetings between Green and the various power brokers during the whole debacle.

For the other revelations The Sun are reporting, let the SPL block relegation/promotion and they'll see a boycott from fans and loss of any credibility left.

The whole thing is to try and legitimise their entry directly into the Division 1, I mean SPL2.

Not a single person in my office the other day thought the SPL2 idea was in any way a legitimate response from the SPL/SFA, even the Rangers fans.

Time for a mass cull at the top.

I'm very pleased it's the third division for us. The first division would come back to bite us again and again and again. We'd be carrying that cross for decades to come.

The SPL/SFA might have done better if they had been less forward with things and just been as straightforward and honest as possible. Even still I don't think they'd have got their way.. but they felt like they were selling the idea to the clubs.
