There is a counter argument to that, which is that OF provides an outlet for frustrated guys that can't find what they're looking for in real life, so that it decreases women in the real world being seen as sex objects.

If that was true, rape would be almost non existent due to the explosion of porn on the internet.

I think the reverse is true in that it can feed/encourage that behaviour.
