The SSR in Cyberpunk's not bad at all:I prefer the look of the SSR reflection in Poneros example.
What's the performance cost difference between the two out of interest?

Until you move the camera up or down and, of course, no reflection from stuff which is not in your view. The SSR in Cyberpunk's not bad at all:

I recall a realistic GTAV mod, not sure if that had it but I'd imagine that would look good.
RT mod? That was reshade forced RT i.e. only uses what is in your frame/view (I believe nvidia bought that and added it to their game filter/geforce overlay plugin for supported games), it's good for very specific scenarios/screenshots but in motion it's not great, you still get reflections disappearing and if people think RT is too "mirror" like, this literally was like a mirror
GTA 5 official RT reflections looks great though.
That is not what I was thinking, I believe the mod was called Realstic GTa or something generic, also didn't realise it had it natively. Tried to google the mod but quite a few with similar names.
Portal may be a bad example but I've played a bit and unless I saw side by side I couldn't tell you what difference it was making.
Interesting that James Cameron is overseeing the game as he wants justice done with the game and game world. All in all, sounds very promising, lets hope it doesn't release in a poor state like so many other games recently....
That did help thanks. I guess my point is with this particular game, I didn't notice half the stuff on this video. Somebody had to point out for me so I guess I didn't really appreciate it which is my thoughts of this technology in general.
When I can get CP on offer that will be a better example no doubt.
Well, hopefully in a few generations the performance impact will be reduced to a point where it will be acceptable for most players.
I thought the newer Deus Ex games would be good ones for a revamp like Portal, won't happen though.
