How's on the vRAM, 10gigs enough? :))

Hopefully we'll see those graphics rather sooner than later.

At least it seems justifiable.
Seems Nexus gets away with 10GB once again :p:D

Might give it a go soon. I have only used the Matrix and Superman demos so far.
If games just don't throw everything into vRAM (aka Far Cry 6 where even 8GB vRAM is not enough for 1080p, with high res. texture pack, due to crappy streaming tech), then the cards most likely are balanced quite good.
The problem with (at least some) of these vRAM hungry games comes from awful resource management rather than an actual need for that much memory.

Indeed. When I see a huge increase in vram usage I want to see a huge increase in image quality. Instead we keep getting crappy AMD sponsored games that don’t even look that good and are boring as hell.

Why would you expect better image quality from more vram usage? I’d expect better performance, the graphic quality will be determined by the original assets and whatever settings you use. As for the dig at AMD, cough, Cyberpunk, cough.

I assume better textures for starters?

Actually I quite like it. I think is the one from the series that I like the best from the first playthrough (of course with the exception of the original which made a lasting impression).
I don't even mind the issue with the vRAM as the "standard" textures on high settings are decent. A plus for the reflections as well, they're not great, but a step up from the disappearing screen space ones.
What grinds my gears is the crappy support for multidisplay aka Surround/Eyefinity although the game is "backed" by AMD. Is the same BS as it was with FC5, FC4 (I think?) and even 3rd one...? As in the FoV is too narrow at 60 and it feels like the game plays with a constant 2x zoom in vision. Funny how FC2 worked just fine out of the box.

Original assets are made with the vRAM in mind. Higher quality ones would take more space, even more so if devs would bother to have NPCs and such at the same "golden" standard as the hero / main characters. With that said, how many are using photogrammetry these days although it brings a HUGE step up in quality? :)

Considering you can now get some very high res texture mods replacing the stock textures with higher quality textures in CP2077 like road textures, Wall textures, Hair textures, Weapon textures, Skin textures etc etc... I'm curious if CDPR will ever release an HD texture pack of their own really boosting visuals.
