Among other ray tracing issues on PC it looks like various ray traced reflection details get culled when using Nvidia Ansel, Ironic really considering it's meant to be for screenshots yet removes detail :D

Atomic Heart official specs as of today, Considering it's got a few RT FX these specs don't look that bad, Along with it being one of Nvidia's DLSS3 feature games it should be a decent experience.

Nice. Will be playing this on release. Based on those specs I should be fine.

No chance of it running well on the 3080 without RT as apparently the game wants 12gn vram even for 1080p low settings

It's RAM: Google search:Atomic Heart: Minimum (60 fps, 1080p, low settings):
CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. RAM: 8GB (12GB recommended) GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580. :)

RTX4090 loses 47% performance when enabling Ray Tracing

Intel Arc A770 loses 21% performance when enabling Ray Tracing

AMD RX7900XTX loses 88% performance when enabling Ray Tracing

Today I learned Intel has the best architecture for Ray Tracing, they just need to make bigger GPUs

As posts go that is mince! 47% reduction of 10 million is much less than a 21% reduction of 5000! Obviously those figures were picked to demonstrate how stupid the post was.

So news in, atomic heart won't have RT on consoles at launch.... Probably going to be a **** show too

In other news, what are peoples thoughts with the RT in hogswarts then? AO and shadows looks good but I'm finding the reflections to be a let down, some areas, it looks good but it feels/looks like SSR is still happening on top of RT (as can also see SSR artefacts e.g. halo'ing around edges and so on), that and then low resolution as well as having a shimmery/ant crawling effect (can be improved via file edits though but hits performance hard) and I'm finding that a lot of the dry brick like material are reflective when they shouldn't be, obviously marble surfaces should be reflective but not dry rough brick....

Is there an element of RT being turned up to 11 to showcase it being used, instead of just using it effectively? It's strange if RT is being used for it to make things look worse in one game, but better in another.
